One of the things I prefer about living in the mid-west (versus California) is the weather is much more interesting here. One might describe the weather in California as boring or even ‘scorchio’ whereas in Kansas City the TV channels boast about how many meteorologists they have and how geeky they are.

I like this, it reminds me of home.

I am, however, still getting used to the weather here. Make no mistake, today was the first day of winter. I’ve included the forecast below. You read that right, it’s a fifty-five degree fahrenheit drop in temperature, forty of it in less than four hours. I’m seriously impressed.
