My Surprising Cloud Cost Discovery
Once upon a time …
There was a little startup. The startup had only about 10 employees and they all sat together in a local incubator.
The incubator was kind enough to provide some hosting credits from some friendly cloud vendors, and so all their hosting costs were covered, for awhile at least.
This little startup had an audacious goal: to measure everything being done on the Cloud. So they built a humungous computer system to gather and sift all the cloud cost data, one that would help their customers keep track of what they were spending on the Cloud.
